Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

From the Inn to Tateyama Station (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes)

Himi Station → Takaoka Station (JR Himi Line) → Toyama Station (Ainokaze Toyama Railway) →
Dentetsu-Toyama Station → Tateyama Station (Toyama Chihō Railway)

Take the cable car to Bijodaira (7 min / 1.3 km)

Nestled in the embrace of the Northern Japan Alps, Tateyama Station serves as the gateway to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.
Step outside the charming, mountain lodge–style station building and you will be greeted by crisp alpine air and magnificent peaks, inviting you into breathtaking scenery that changes with the seasons.

Arrival at Bijodaira

Bijodaira offers beautiful panoramic scenery.
From here, transfer to the Highland Bus and continue on to Murodo.(50 min / 23 km)

At an elevation of around 1,000 meters, this area is covered with pristine beech forests, offering a close encounter with Tateyama’s rich natural surroundings.
After ascending quickly by cable car, the quiet atmosphere and refreshing mountain air leave a lasting impression.

On the way to Murodo high above the clouds, this is a wonderful place to enjoy the changing beauty of nature.
